2026
For the eponymous expo, which was a duo show with me and Saskia Van der Gucht at Dingen die niet verkopen, I created some new works.
These focused on how data collected from public space can be translated back into an exhibition context. After extensive walks in both Belgium and Berlin, and after two residencies in Berlin (Meander and Lichtenberg Studios), I brought together parts of my material using recurring narratives.

Me and Saskia are both avid collectors of things that others might disregard. Perhaps this is an attempt to hold on to something fleeting for just a little while longer. When we realized they had a common collection of images, we decided to bring them together and present them intertwined. In this way, our work, which stems from two disparate practices, turned into a dialogue.
